Normally, most editors don’t like to receive requests from people asking to be taken off the mailing list or to stop their subscription. I am glad to assist people if they ask, though. Yearly, we receive hundreds of requests from people wanting to receive Family Times and only a handful of requests asking to be “unsubscribed”. Often, we receive encouraging letters – usually from people subscribing. However, a few weeks ago, encouragement came from an unlikely source – from someone asking to be taken OFF our mailing list. But it was such a nice surprise, I had to share it.
Please take me off your mailing list. We are graduating our son after 10 years of home-schooling.

I can't begin to tell you how much I have enjoyed Family Times. It is the one publication I consistently preferred above all others and it is the only one I am still receiving. I have learned so much from Renee Fuller's articles and enjoyed the works of countless authors. Seemed like in every edition there was an article that contained just the message I needed to hear that month. The way you handled the death of Dave Marks was very touching and appreciated. I met him at a conference many years ago and he was a delightful, caring man. I am glad to remember him everytime I see one of his articles.
I have passed along every issue to other friends over the years, hoping to increase awareness about your wonderful publication. I hope it worked!
